QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: It is the time for home."

Edith Sitwell, British poet

  1. Jim, I enjoyed this story, but it could have been so much worse; you do know that, don't you?

It made me remember driving home from work one day to the farm when the snow was so deep I couldn't see the fence posts which helped me stay on the road. The wipers just kept about a 4 inch circle clean and I couldn't stop because each time the car would start sliding sideways. It was a very long drive home that day. We haven't had one of those snows in many years.

  2. It could of been. I was young, and did some pretty dumb stuff as a kid. I like being a little adventurous every now and then. Except now I think things through more.
