A nice man at Tom & Jake's Barber Shop in Lakewood, Colorado, did the work.
Here's a photo, and I taped the entire thing just to you (or ya'll/ all ya'll if you're in the South).
Thank you all for supporting in spirit, with donations, or in prayer.
Jim is about $500 shy of his goal for Bob, so if you know someone who might be interested in helping a veteran with a part of his chemotherapy/medical expenses, please send them by!
Thank you all.
I think it looks awesome! I do like me a bald man. When are you going to show Bob?
ReplyDeleteKristi, Thanks, it's cold on the bear noggan. Bob will get to see all of this, after we get all the money, and we make the trip to his place. I can't wait to see the look on his face.
DeleteAnd, as for me being bald. It sure is shiny. I think I blinded a guy out on the street. He was riding along on his bicycle, and I went out to get the mail. The next thing I know, he dumped it.
You shore got a purty noggin'.
ReplyDeleteHillbilly, Thanks, it shines up right nice.
DeleteWhat you did was a wonderful thing. You're a great friend (and you look quite dapper with no hair :-)
ReplyDeleteBrigid, thank you. I would do something like this for, any of my friends, or family. And, Your included. As far as looking dapper. I'm not sure. Plus, none of my hats fit now.
DeleteHi Flier - You appeared very calm while getting your hair cut off, and I must say you look just fine this way. You'll likely become accustomed to your new look and may even want to keep it.
ReplyDeleteAll the Best ... Helga :))
